March 2026 Release Notes
This release includes improvements to Barista for Microsoft Teams and Barista Chat V2, along with several bug fixes.
What's New
Improved Microsoft Teams Messaging
Updated Barista's Microsoft Teams messaging configuration to improve the reliability of bot messages and prevent messages from being blocked when they take longer to generate.
The following interval configurations are now used:
teams.min_send_interval_seconds = 1.2— Controls how frequently Barista attempts to send a loading message.teams.min_poll_interval_seconds = 0.25— Controls the internal interval used to check whether a Barista message has been received.
Improved Barista Chat V2 Profiles
Removed mandatory fields from the My Profile section in Barista Chat V2, making it easier for users to update their personal information.
Bug Fixes
Improved SharePoint Access Control
Fixed an issue where access controls were not being applied correctly to ASPX pages ingested from SharePoint. Users can now access content from these pages based on their permissions.
Fixed Microsoft Teams Conversation Card Errors
Fixed an issue that could cause Microsoft Teams to crash when Conversation Cards were removed from the Home Tab.
Fixed Ticket Status Updates in Microsoft Teams
Fixed an issue where the Task Card interface did not reflect manually updated ticket statuses.
Improved Tenant File Cleanup
Fixed an issue where temporary files in the tenant files directory were not being removed. Temporary files older than 30 days are now automatically cleaned up.
Fixed Site Discovery Memory Issues
Fixed an issue that could cause excessive memory usage during sitemap ingestion.
Fixed Chat V2 Greeting Formatting
Fixed an issue that caused new lines in Chat V2 greeting localizations to display incorrectly.
Fixed Barista Chat V2 Profile Access
Fixed an issue where users could become unable to open the My Profile section after pressing Esc without saving their changes.
