📄️ Introduction to Adding Activities
In the Workflow Designer, activities are the building blocks used to automate tasks. You can add activities in several ways, depending on your preferences and where the activity originates.
📄️ Adding from the Activities Tree
The Activities tree, in the upper-left corner of the Workflow Designer, lists all activity categories alphabetically. Each category shows:
📄️ Pasting Copied Activities
The Paste option lets you insert a copy of an activity or group of activities into a workflow. You can past items copied form the same workflow or another one.
📄️ Adding Suggested Activities
The Suggested Activities list displays up to six recommended activity types based on the content of your workflow. Suggested Activities are context-sensitive, so the activity types that are shown vary according to the preceding activity.
📄️ Adding Activities Using the Search Tool
The Search tool lets you find activities by keyword. Results include both activity categories and specific activity types that match the search term. You can then select and add an activity directly from the results.
📄️ Importing Activities from the Automation Exchange
The Resolve Automation Exchange is a web-based library of pre-built automations and integrations, designed to accelerate automation without scripting or coding. You can browse, search, download and import these assets into your environment.
